This episode is the only true sequel in the Stoogeverse! It's the sequel to 'Hoofs and Goofs' the first Joe Besser Stooge film, which establishes the story of discovery, concealment, and motherhood of the stooges equine sister.

For three grown men who regularly slap, bonk and poke each other, quarrel, antagonize cops, and capture crooks, the Stooges in contrast can be very "sappy". They turn sappy in particular when confronted with children, animals and women. in This episode they midwife their reincarnated equine sister to give birth to this pony. Being a Stooge requires more than sheer ignorance and blatant apathy for each others heads and noses; it is actually a rather complex personality type (or species of quasi-human) which covers a broad spectrum of human qualities, emotions, and dysfunctions!
