In this episode we have 3 beloved Stooge elements in play; a mad doctor trying to transplant a human brain into his gorilla, a mad doctor wanting to perform brain surgery on Curly, and a room-to-room chase!
Eventually the gorilla and Curly become "pals" and it even protects Curly from Moe's punishing blows! This of course translates to the mad doctor toward the end of the episode, allowing Curly to be a lovable character and the gorilla gets to take the place of the clown.
